When Our Students Succeed, Our Nation Succeeds.

Founded in 1969, the Committee for Education Funding (CEF) and its 80 member organizations have worked toward the common goal of achieving adequate federal support for our nation's education system. Nonpartisan and nonprofit, CEF is America's largest education coalition, reflecting the broad spectrum of the education community.

What’s Taking Center Stage

Congress has cut education programs from PreK through graduate education by billions of dollars. As Congress finalizes the Fiscal Year 2012 education budget, it’s time to tell them no more cuts! Congress should be investing in education to help students succeed and increase high school graduation and college attendance and completion rates.

Federal investments in education are critical for our students, our economy and our future! It’s time to stop the cuts and instead invest in education programs from preschool through graduate education.

Please sign to tell Congress you support investing in education funding, not cutting it.
